ABOUT US
Founded in 2018 we started as a small production team in Suzhou, China before opening a community interest company (cic) in late 2020 and building a diverse team in the UK (Birmingham).
We're named Bader after Sir Douglas Bader who's "can do" attitude we try to implement in our own work. So our mission is to use our skills in filmmaking to help amputees, as profits from our projects will go to charities and organisations that support the amputee community in the UK.
Our team has a vast range of skills including writing/directing/producing/sound recording and mixing/music production/photography and cinematography/visual effects/editing and drone flying.
We pride ourselves in our creativity whether it be through short or feature films, music videos, live recording or commercial and corporate projects.
Meet The Team
James Peakman
Writer/Director and CEO of Bader Media Entertainment. James freelanced for a number of years including roles with ITV and Channel 4. He has written and directed multiple short and feature films some of which were premiered at BAFTA and screened in a major film festival in Los Angeles.

Our Head of Finance and Compliance Danyan (AKA Danielle), is a Chinese licensed lawyer whose organisation skills make her an excellent manager for our projects. She has produced multiple short films and music videos in the UK and China.

Andrew (AKA Geordie) is our Digital Media and Marketing manager who runs our social media and creates our marketing content. Geordies skills also include sound recording and mixing, as well as music production and photography.
Depending on the project, we also have a freelance team of camera operators, editors, gaffers, sound recordists and drone pilots.
